Very naive hand built sculpture, unsigned.
Looks very mid century modern in style but could be more recent I guess.
Any ideas? Hobby potter or a famous ceramicist?
I’m also unsure what it’s made of. It looks like fired pottery but has white dust inside that comes out from holes in base.

I think it's a copy of a Stig Lindberg piece

Well done. What a lovely piece !
Well, mine was cheaper than £1508.14. Thankfully!
But I would love the original in my living room.
Thanks for tracking that down.

Ignore 1stdibs prices. They stick a 0 on the end of everything so Dealers can show their customers the ‘online’ price, and knock 50% off the shop price so the customer thinks they’re getting a bargain

Not sure how it fits, it could be a student copy? Or something else?

It’s a copy/fake. The real ones are moulded, where as yours is slab built.

That seems somewhat the fashion on Ebay lately, with most more expensive things going on 'Best Offers' on a fairly overlarge starting price.
