Worked for a while at Torquil pottery (qv).
I like the fine throwing, and her precise Escher-style sgraffito designs.

Shallow bowl by Louise Darby, her illustrative work is exceptional on this piece, even the base has the same level of detail.

I have this cylindrical studio pottery vase with blue stripes and a distinctive and clear monogram yet I cannot trace the potter!  So if anyone can please help identify this - It is a letter D which looks to be inside a letter L so would suggest this is either for LD or DL.
