I think it’s thrown, and thrown well, I can see rings inside. Shiny grey glaze inside.
It feels like it’s covered in a very fine sand, Rough to touch. painted in black and then incised with design
African type design.
Painted JC or JL mark.
Well made hobby pot or something else?
