JAMES TOWER
James Tower (1919-88) was a major figure in 20th century British Ceramics, and his beautiful uniquely decorated tin-glazed forms fetch high prices in the Art Market. He taught at the Bath School of Art in Corsham 1950-65, and spent the rest of his life in Lewes Sussex. Never part of the mainstream of British Studio pottery, he ploughed his own fascinating furrow, often experimenting in other media. There is a lovely hardback book about him, and there was a major retrospective of his work in 2019 in Bath. The link here is to a 10 minute You Tube survey of that exhibition.

Re: JAMES TOWER
For most of his career he was represented by Gimpel Fils, a top end London art gallery, as so his work was always expensive.
