Yes, I really did find it under my bed. Over 10” tall.
Stoneware, Very 1970s. Brown toasted with a tiny bit of Greeny blue glazing.
Signed but very hard to make out.
Any ideas?

The blue/purple writing looks like 'Donoghue' to me. Could the signature be that too?

Does it have any connection with Greenwich, Ben?

It is a bit lovely if you like your pots modernist and abstract.
I bought it in Devon with a very mixed group Of pots, some local, some not. Is it reminding you of a South London maker Studio?

I think Studio was thinking about Alan Wallwork at both Forest Hill and Greenwich from the mid 50's to the mid 60's. At Forest Hill he was working with several other ex-Goldsmith potters  At Greenwich had several assistants, and also other potters including Robert and Sheila Fournier, and Bernard Rooke had studios there. Lots of Experimentation and cross fertilisation, especially in the early 60's when the Arts were exploding with new ideas.
This definitely has the feel of something they might have been doing there.

That’s what the seller said when the World Cup was going on a few years ago. But seeing it now there’s maybe a face there?
