Pottery Blue Vase... Colin Hatfield? Empty Pottery Blue Vase... Colin Hatfield?

Hello all,

Recently came by this item and have been unable to find its purpose or the maker. The mark appears to be CHI? Perhaps Colin Hatfield? Just wondered if anyone had any suggestions/ideas as I have hit a wall in my search to identify the maker.

I don’t think it’s his mark but I don’t have an alternative suggestion. It’s possible the mark is sideways; a JH maybe
