Need Help to ID This Sgraffito Colour Block Studio Pottery Bowl
Hi Everyone,
I'm hoping that someone will recognize the initials signed on the underside of this piece. It's a beautifully made bowl with incised lines separating the various colour sections. Even the underside is glazed. The base clay is black, but may be dyed somehow. My feeling is that it's Italian, but I'm not sure. I've seen some Alvino Bagni pieces that were a little similar, but not with these brilliant colours. Definitely mid-century. The initials look like "NL-", but I'm not even sure of that.
