The design looks oriental, so maybe Japanese, but might even be European, Czech?
Probably from the 1920s/30s. Sure I've seen a similar design before somewhere.

Looks Asian, Japanese moriage ware, c.1930s? . You might find the manufacturer on the Gotheborg website under Jspanese Marks. They also have Chinese marks

It looks to me to be Japanese export ware for the Western market made in the 1930s.

by denbydump on March 18th 2020, 3:12 pmIt wouldn't be the D&C vase that Naomi picked up on her travels back in January, would it? That's a white thing flying against a blue background, superficially similar enough to spark a memory perhaps.

It’s not by D&C imo . Almost certainly made in Asia. The mark may be who they’ve made it for, if it’s a Western logo, eg, a hotel chain

I wasn't suggesting it was by the same maker, just wondering if it might have been your vase that dd was thinking of when he said that he had seen a similar design before, just because the colour scheme and subject matter are similar enough to spark a connection.
In fact, it was your vase that I first thought of when I saw the items above, because I'd been browsing the other thread only a couple of days prior to this one being posted.
