I thought I’d better check this really is Steve Harrison.
It’s my mother’s paper label on the base. A potential buyer was asking about a mark so I thought I’d better check it.
The shape, decoration etc looks like his work but it doesn’t have his regular mark - it has another impressed mark or decoration by the handle.
Would date I think from late 1990s or 2000.
Thank you. Steve Harrison salt glazed stoneware Ca3ead10

Tricky one. It does not bear his mark, which is a real problem. Have seen a fair amount of his stuff around, and its nice. But..... it does not have that stylistic imprimatur a la Walter Keeler, Jane Hamlyn that makes it instantly identifiable as an absolute certainty., Since this would be an Ebay sale I think you have to be totally honest, and emphasise the fact that it was your mother's identification and she had a superb collection blah blah, but you cannot be absolutely certain.

I think it’s right. There’s similar scroll decoration on the handles of this one which has his mark

Hooray, that’s really helpful. It’s really tricky with unmarked pieces.

Personally I would err on the side of caution.

Probably need to be careful with wording for eBay. Thank you Naomi and Philpot.

If he’s still potting then best to ask him.
Liz Gale makes similar pieces but I don’t think she uses such stamps
