I bought an interesting group of early earthenware, some of which I know the maker and some not.
First photo shows all the pieces.
Small slipware vase with painted mark. Could be intersecting SI or IS or TS or ST

I’ve had another look at this mark and it looks like a JS or SJ mark. As I bought it together with the Winchcombe dated 1949 vase with the John Shelly mark, my thoughts are that this may also be John Shelly. If it is, I don’t know whether it would be a Bath or a Winterbourne or my local Littlehempston piece.
