Pair Art Deco Blue Flambe Glaze Porcelain Cat Bookends French?
These are porcelain, not pottery. The seller said they were French. I thought they looked French also without seller mentioning it.
Glossy blue "flambe" glaze.
16cm long, 12 cm tall.
No maker's mark found. I've looked carefully in the glaze as well. There is a hand incised number on underside of both: "h322". I now see another extremely faint mark on undersides at opposite end. Impossible to read. But sort of looks like a numbers or symbols.
Hoping to know maker and age. Are they repros?
