Little jug with indistinct stamp
A very nice little jug with thick drip glaze. I especially like the little 'doughnut' of clay at the base of the handle. The backstamp is very indistinct. I've no idea why but I get the feeling that it may be Welsh which, if the usual accuracy of my instincts are anything to go on, means it's probably not!

The photo of the base is a bit out of focus. Just a guess but might be French or Charmouth Pottery

Naomi, the bottom really does look like that. Maybe 'indistinct' was an understatement.

Has the Anchor Pottery St Ives Look from the mid 70s but the base is a little wrong
