Hi

I recently bought a box of items at an auction for other items in the box, I found these at the bottom and am curious about them.  They are very light weight and feel quite fragile, I'm really surprised they have survived with only a few flea bites to the finish.  There is nothing on them that indicates maker just Made in England No. 211

They are quite attractive in a kitsch way.

If you could tell me age and maker that would be really fab!

Thanks for looking.

Hi, thanks for your response. They do appear to be of that age. Really surprised they have made it into the 21st century, they are so thin and light weight and found at the bottom of a box!

I suspect they are cold painted with an applied lithographic prints, to cut down on the number of firings during the Depression in the 1930s

Could be Falcon Ware (Thomas Lawrence LTD, Falcon Works). There is a No 211 vase in my Sylvac book described as: "Vase (old falconware 1930's)". Size isn't given, and i have no idea what it looks like.

Might be worth a search.
