Boopie ashtray.? Empty Boopie ashtray.?

Could anyone please help with any information with regards to what I am assuming is an ashtray. I know that these were widely made but if anyone could date or help with makers name or country of origin would be great. The painting of a poacher/hunter looks continental to me. Thank you.
