Gold Lustre Studio cup, Tpm Ywm - Evgeni Ivanov, Bulgaria
Belated seasons greetings to all
Can anyone help with an ID on this little cup I found today, I just can't seem to make any sense of what is a quite clear potters mark, maybe the alcohol has killed off a little bit more of the grey matter, but i'm stumped

If it says "Tou You" before Handmade then it could well be made in Japan, as there are Japanese connections with that name. It doesn't have any typical Japanese features though.

It appears to read either Tpm Ywm or TpH YwH or any combination of both.

Yes a possibility, but not a very clear mark.

I’ve seen them on Etsy. I think it’s a Czech pottery

Coffee Mug.
by Tony Yeh who is Taiwanese and is apparently famous for his tea bowls ?! He is also the founder and chief editor of the Chinese Ceramics Magazine.

Are you sure? He’s on FB but no examples on his feed or on Google, and I’ve seen a number of these mugs around the place. They must be commercially made.

Ok. Tbh, the clay and glaze and shape are more like an Eastern European pottery business I used to follow on Etsy, but I forget the name. The clay is atypical of Taiwan.

Danko Pottery, Bulgaria
It's similar to Danko Pottery, Bulgaria. Possibly by a pottery in the same area.

Tri Ushi Pottery, Bulgaria
Seems to be the Bulgarian potter Evgeni Ivanov. The link below says " Evgeni grew up in Troyan and studied at the Troyan School of Ceramics before attending The National Art Academy. In 1998, Evgeni began producing his own style of pottery under the name Tri Ushi." Which with my limited knowledge of Cyrillic would fit pretty well with the mark.
