Glass bowl ribbed on both sides

Anyone recognise this bowl?
It's ribbed horizontally on the outside and vertically on the inside.
It's made from cast glass and has the occasional bubble and production imperfection so I'm guessing it's reasonably elderly.
It's approximately 20cm/8" in diameter and 6.5cm/2.5" high.

I’ve had one of these too. I was surprised to find it was made in Asia or Indonesia . I can’t remember the exact country, but it had the name impressed near the foot rim.

Mine definitely doesn't have any name impressed into it anywhere. I wonder if it was something that got copied.

I found others with the same pattern. Only a couple had the impressed country name, I'm assuming they came as a set with one size having the country name

Just thinking it's strange that Google is coming up with nothing similar.

Look for signs of wear on the base. It could be old Sklo Union but then again it could be something a bit more recent.
