Re: Salt glazed vase, combed decoration
Looks familiar but I’m not finding another one the same. Maybe Jason Braham?

Lovely pot. Toff Millway? He has done all sorts of designs and salt glaze colours in his long career. It does look like something from a salt glaze specialist.

Re: Salt glazed vase, combed decoration
it's old school so I can see why Toff's name was thrown into the mix but I don't think he made it.
It looks like some sort of resist was applied at the base to achieve that neat end to the salt glaze, I haven't seen that before so I wonder if it was made outside Britain?

I don’t think Jason Braham stamps his pieces so he would be my first choice, although John West has moved into salt glazing in recent years and he wasn’t stamping initially, either

Not Jason Brahman unfortunately.
"Hi David,
At first I thought it was one of mine, but in subtle ways I know it isn’t. The combination of rim, base and the “shell pattern” wiring-off are not mine. Also it is rare for one of my pots not to have my seal impressed.
The colour's right, the body’s right, the combed decoration too, and I wish was one of mine. Good luck with finding the maker.
Best wishes,
jason"
