WC mark - William (Bill) Crumbleholme, Upwey Potters

from the the side, looks like an unimpressive bowl, but has a nice quirk of round bottom and squared top.  It has an impressed stamp mark which seems familiar from this site, but couldn't remember if it was ID'd.

Looks similar to something I saw at Woking today. It was a fairly plain blue vase with ribbed neck, made in Denmark, so maybe there's somewhere to start.

Freeforms website might have it.

The C is almost identical to the C in the CA mark for (Anna) Wenna Crockatt in Yates-Owen. Yates-Owen has the Anna in brackets so I'm wondering if she dropped the Anna and used a WC mark for Wenna Crockatt.

The British studio pottery marks book has an entry for (Anna) Wenna Crockatt, potting from the 80s in Fort William and Fenny Bridges. Her mark is AC in a similar font to your WC. Maybe she changed it to WC?

There seem to quite a lot of marks in that font. I suppose there must have been someone supplying the stamps commercially.

Im sure other examples have been posted before maybe not in raku... any answers?
