janet Cottrell ? Empty janet Cottrell ?

Pulled this one out yesterday. My gut feeling when I unwrapped it was that it may be a hobby potter, though having looked more closely at it & following some digging I believe that it is a very early piece by Janet Cottrell. Anyone able to confirm or deny ?

Certainly possible, she did make handbuilt pieces, although the marks book has a date of 1980 for her but close enough imo

Yes, I spotted the date too, I did wonder.
It does look a world away from the piece you put on here a couple of years back.
