Ill move it to ID my pottery. A base picture is essential.
It's something people did back in the day.
I once found a Trioka lampbase painted with white emulsion for £1.
It was a bugger to clean, but got it all off with hot water and a wire brush!

It does look professionally made. It may have had a sticker on a felt base.
It also looks somewhat Cornish, like eg, Tremaen ot Porthleven.
