Thanks for that Dan. Looks as though it will be interesting. Presumably they looking to fill the space left by the much missed Art in Action.

Might go. Haven’t decided yet. I should really save up for Hatfield

A belated note to say I did go and it was lovely. Lots of tents. Didn’t manage to get to the miniatures exhibition that was in the main house but plenty to see. Just a shame it wasn’t like the old Art in Action with the carvers and glassmakers etc; it was just Ceramics; but nice to see many of them demonstrating as well. But many of the potters will also be at Hatfield’s Art In Clay

On this weekend. Went along yesterday. Lovely day out and lots to see. Well worth a visit.

Visited today. A bit windy but thankfully avoided yesterday’s rain. Excellent show. 8 tents. A worthy replacement to Hatfield Art In Clay. Just disappointing they don’t have Clay College and Cardiff students. But they did have a tent for the Great British Pottery Showdown contestants. Plus a few potters from Northern Ireland. Adele Powell’s husband was there with pots from her last firing. But he said he still had two kiln loads to be fired but he was “just a sailor” and was getting help from professional potters. Jim Malone was there with a small selection of pots. I didn’t bother; they were like bricks. I knew there was some reason why I don’t collect his work. Chiu-i Wu was having an excellent day; not many left on her stand. Couldn’t resist another couple by David Wright, Tim Copsey and Elaine Wells. And Tom Knowles-Jackson just gets better and better.
