Tenmoku glaze studio squat jug, incised mark

Thick glaze reminds me of a William Marshall jug I had but the mark isn’t right. Any ideas?

Try smearing marmite acrosss the base to highlight the mark; or take a pencil rubbing

The old marmite trick....... it’s a new one for me!
