Tall Italian? Vase with houses
2.5 hours and about 3 miles around the biggest boot sale so far this year and all I found amongst the piles of that was this vase. If anyone wants to buy any Ainsley I know where there is a field of it every Sunday morning!!! Anyway back to the vase, it's approx 15" high, no markings to the base but I'm guessing 50/60's Italian. Any other ideas?

Then again it could be Ruscha, with those bright enamels on matt black.
There are a couple of plates in the ruscha thread with similar houses and colours.

I think Italian is right, I have a wall plaque marked Italy which is far more similar in style ,colour and subject matter

I would have expected the base to be better finished if it was Ruscha. The couple I bought it off said they bought it in Spain years ago, but I don't see much Spanish about it.
