Finely made stoneware box - clean glazes - marked

Bonjour,
I bought this at a French Brocante but I am not sure it is French. Can anyone help with this?
The decorative grasses are actual grasses that have been impressed, removed, and a glaze somehow added. I believe I have seen this kind of decoration on some of Paul Gooderham's pieces, plus the French potter Raymonde Leduc ... but this mark belongs to someone else!
The mark appears to be part of a flower, namely, it's splayed petals (seven in all) around a small central bit (sorry, I'm not a botanist!).
It stands 4.5" high, with a diameter of 5.5"
Very clean glazes, nice fitting lid. All in all, a well produced professional piece.
I hope you enjoy seeing it as much as I do.

... The French Forum think the mark is a cannabis leaf! What do you reckon?

no but it would be a great idea for a potter's mark
