Fired Glass Ceramic Eye - Help please re. maker

This piece is one I have had for years but have been unable to identify the Potter. I have shown it to a number of people who like it but no-one recognises the mark. I am attaching photos and hope that someone can identify it for me. many thanks

What a lovely & unusual piece, I can see why you have held onto it for some time. It reminds me of some of the Carn (Cornish) pottery pieces we have had down the years, though I know it is not Carn, but very similar in some respects. Sorry I cannot help, but good luck with it.
