Re: T.G. GREEN Ltd, Church Gresley
Thanks, I feel sure I have had, or seen, other colours than the three stated in the ad,
like Teal, Orange and Yellow.

Tobys of Nottingham
[quote="denbydump"]A standard Sultanas storage jar, but with a retailer's or wholesaler's backstamp.
Despite being local, nobody I have shown it to has seen this before.
Go to this link, there's a fair bit of information I wrote 3 years ago: Cornishware & Tobys of Nottingham

Click on the words 'Cornishware & Tobys of Nottingham'. That is the link.
Re: T.G. GREEN Ltd, Church Gresley
So sorry, but that phrase is not a clickable "Link". entering it into search engines
has so far failed to find it.

Thanks, an interesting piece of local history. I moved to Nottingham around 1983,
which would be why I don't remember the store itself.
BTW apologies for a complete misunderstanding on how you had done an external link.
The convention on the forum has been to visibly show the whole link, as you did above,
so we know where we are going.
