Hmm the book says c1980-85, but the design looks more 60s/70s.

This was indeed from 1980. The artist Susan Green created a series of the 3 pots. Pencils / Toothbrushes / Golf.

A standard Sultanas storage jar, but with a retailer's or wholesaler's backstamp.
Despite being local, nobody I have shown it to has seen this before.

Thanks, an interesting piece of local history. I moved to Nottingham around 1983,
which would be why I don't remember the store itself.

The largest lipped (or Lipd) Cornish ware bowl. 11 in Diameter, also impressed 10 PTS.
Can't say I've ever seen another this size before.
