Lidded Box ... not Gwynn Hanssen Pigott ... not marked!
Hello Pottery People,
Some people call this a puzzle box. But I have only seen one domed ceramic example (unfortunately, I did not get the potters name ... but it was stoneware anyway).
The nearest domed boxes I can find are by Gwynn Hanssen Pigott ... but I do not think this is one of hers (but I REALLY wish it was!!). It has no markings.
Perhaps someone here can help by looking at the technique and material. Google does not turn up many 'puzzle' pieces.
This is well made. Is it ash glaze?
Height 3" diameter 3.5".
Here's hoping!

A lot of studio potters make lidded boxes. A few add a wavey join. Unfortunately without a mark we’ll just have to wait for another one to turn up with a label
