ID help needed, AA mark - Adrian Abberley?

This little stoneware vase is beautifully made and with a fine small opening at the top that I can barely fir my little finger into. It has a dark Green glaze and the a line of buff coloured transparent glaze.. can't find this exact mark on the Internet. Thanks

I’ve come across it a few times. Sometimes attributed to Martin Homer (although not one of his marks in the book), and sometimes attributed to Adrian Abberley, again not quite like the one in the book but a closer match. Sometimes the mark has a little T in the right hand corner so I’m still not sure.

Thank you NaomiM .. I checked out some of the other posts here on Adrian Abberley and agree it looks like its possibly one of his. I would never have found it as it seems there isn't very much about his work on the internet... as this pot is round it looks as if the sides to both of the 'A' s are not impressed but there is a teapot of his that sold that has the same glazes as this.

Yes its Abberley. All the pieces Ive seen are stoneware. Output is so low as to be non existant. About one piece a year pops up on ebay. Horrible tea pot has sat there recently for a long time. This one is better.

Are we sure it’s not Martin Homer? This one has popped up with the same decoration but an MH mark. As I understand it these AA pieces used to be attributed to Homer





Jug with the same glaze colours but the AA mark
