The jug is about 9” high. Prinknash gunmetal colouring with green lava type top

Looks like a Fosters Pottery honeycomb glaze. Not their mark though

Not finding it in the Marks book. Unless someone has another one in their personal collection I think this may take some time.

The green colour on it certainly looks Fosters. Pity the marks not clearer. Have blown it up and HDeed it on photo shop

Not many potters make pieces with glazed bases these days because it runs the risk of sticking to the kiln shelves, so I suspect it’s a 1940s or 50s pottery
