Jo Jones - Australia

4” stoneware vase, flattened off, with beedeign painted on. Crackle glaze. Signed base looks like Jo Jones or Jo James.
Well made piece but can’t find maker or similar online. Will post this but I must google Jojo as well.

Can’t see anything that fits for Jojo either.

It looks Japanese. I’m wondering if the previous owner wrote their name on the base in perminant marker pen

I thought it had a Japanese look too. Could be.

Came across a Jojo Rowley today who’s signs their pieces JoJo. I wonder if it’s the same person

Found another in a box of pots at home. I like the crackle glazing.
There are some pots in a different style on an Australian Pottery site with the same signature in brown iron paint.
