Thought I'd better just check if anyone knows whose this rather dated pottery Bowl is before I entertain dispatching it to a charity shop somewhere...

It's a bit on the vintage side... But you never know...

Funny you mention Newlyn. John Singleman (Barbara Tribe's husband) lived and potted in Penzance and used an impressed S mark through the 50's. Tho whether that is any reason for not giving it to the charity shop is debateable, as his work is not widely collected.
