Re: Dartington Pottery
The impressed mark is a Dart ,hence Dart /Dartington pottery. You are right about the Janice Tchalenko connection. She did a lot of designs for for Dart back in the 70's and 80's, and this is one of her designs. But as Naomi says. it is going to be impossible to find Giselle, as they had a lot of decorators over the years.

Re: Dartington Pottery
Thank you both! I looked up Giselle, Dartington Pottery and it seems there's a decorator called Giselle Snell. I was thrown with the impressed mark thinking it was a G and maybe a W :)

Re: Dartington Pottery
I find that rather underwhelming. Rather dull in fact. Would never have known it was Dartington. Any idea of its Date Dan?

Re: Dartington Pottery
no idea of the date, it was purchased from their shop around the time they moved to Greyshott so may have been part of a clear-out where old pieces were sold off.
It actually looks very striking in the flesh

There is a suggested start up list of Dartington potters/decorators on p4 of this Dartington thread.
