Newark antiques fair
Newark fair will be held on Thursay the 31st of January and Friday the 1st of Feb
Be aware that Lincoln fair is not held until April 3rd which will disappoint those who used to come a long way to visit the 2 fairs consecutively

Re: Newark antiques fair
Has anyone here been to the Newark fair in December? I was thinking of going this week but I doubt there will be many traders there?

Only the first day, most outdoor people will be gone Fri, especially as it looks like rain.

Newark fair is on next week, 15th and 16th April 2021. I've never stalled or visited as its a bit too far for me but I thought it was worth a mention as most people probably not too sure what is happening in regard of antique fairs etc.

Re: Newark antiques fair
it's more trade sales than Peterborough, lots of selling out of the van but heavily reliant on foreign trade

Did anyone on the forum attend Newark today? If so, what was the turnout?

Re: Newark antiques fair
Times have changed from decades ago, when at 6 am, i would already be going back
to my car to unload the bagsfull of DENBY/POOLE/CELTIC/TROIKA/WHITEFRIARS..
those were the days!
Haven't been for maybe 15 years now.

Re: Newark antiques fair
I went to Newark today and it's the first time I have heard many of the stall holders say 'it's now just a car boot sale'.
