Help needed with hot water pot marked AJB Empty Help needed with hot water pot marked AJB

Hi to me this looks like a French hot chocolate pot - but as I love hot chocolate that is no surprize. I think the chopped off spout gives it a certain je ne sais quoi. There is a mark that look like AJB underneath.

It’s rather out of proportion so I suspect it’s by a competent hobby potter
