It looks like a professionally made piece from the 60s-70s. Not a mark I immediately recognise. I’ll check the books.

There are a lot of ceramics in France with a kind of mottled iron oxide glaze (is it called a pyrite glaze or something?) ... but your pot has a chop mark which, I believe, is more likely to be English. Looking at the base, along with the chop, I reckon this is not a hobby piece of table ware.

I missed the black dots. Agreed, more likely to be French and later than I thought
