Rye-style candlestick Empty Rye-style candlestick

Boot find today. In the dark I thought Rye, even Aldermaston, but now I see a tiny mark, a 4-5mm shield shape,
unfortunately with a nasty glaze fault running right across it. I might try to draw it if it helps.

Looks like a leaf mark but it doesn’t appear to be in the Marks book

Agreed, egg cup. Aldermaston did them but this doesn’t look like their style of decoration. More likely to be Rye

The clay body looks rather dark for that dug/used in Rye.

I'm sure I have some Rye withi this darker clay, maybe the flash.
I don't think it's Rye now anyway, so I need to try and draw the mark.
