Brass Mortar cannon model Empty Brass Mortar cannon model

It has a plaque on the side reading "Eastney Mortar 1859 - 1901". Just wondering how old it might be, i don't think it's as old as 1901 but i could be wrong. The Mortar is solid brass and very heavy.

It looks pretty new. Probably a seaside or museum shop souvenir

Hmmm, the glue above the sign has turned orange so might be at least 10 years old perhaps. I agree it's not as old as 1901 because the sign would be nailed or screwed in, and probably not glued on.

Yeah, looks good, it weighs 1200kg with the base.
