Pottery identification

I've been having some trouble identifying a piece and it's maker
I can't read the signature, do my searches aren't getting me very far

Itís from one of the Southern European countries - Spain, Italy or Portugal. They all do these plain red baskets. Often the name in the back is the town where thereís a cottage industry of families making them for tourists.

I think the top word is Hungary.
