Re: Hans Coper
These were of course, all past of the Bill Ismay collection of more than 3,500 pieces. Including a lot of Rie and Coper. The whole collection must be worth millions. However if you compare it to the top end of the Art Market, then that is chicken feed A top class Picasso will probably fetch approaching 100 million.

Re: Hans Coper
The York collection is very well lit and makes the photos easy.
On the other hand, the Salisbury collection of Rie and Coper - probably the finest collection of Coper in the country- at the University of East Anglia in Norwich is very poorly lit. It relies largely on natutal light and it is difficult tp get any decent photos,

Re: Hans Coper
The following are part the large ceramics collection of the Salisbury family from Cambridge. They have been lent to the Fitzwilliam Museum and are available to view until July 2019. An amazing collection, including some of the biggest pieces that Hans Coper made. It is all behind glass, and my apologies for the reflections that detract from some of the photos.

Re: Hans Coper
It is interesting to see a number together, as quality wise, they are a bit hit and miss to my mind. To be fair they might look better separated but, quite honestly, they look quite underwhelming "arranged" like that. I'd flog them if they were mine.

Re: Hans Coper
I agree, I would swap them all for Wallwork or Sydenham
