Doctor's Doll?

Post by Mid Century Ade on April 29th 2018, 9:47 pm

Hi - can anyone identify this?  Someone told me that it was a tool used by doctors to identify where a patient's ailment was!! Any ideas?

German, judging by the number on the back. May be just a doll. I think doctors dolls were made by the Japanese and Chinese but this is European

What is that lump on his bag? This is no ordinary doll.
He also seems to be suffering from webbed knee syndrome.

It's the strategically (and accurately) placed air hole that gets me. This has to be my favourite thread on here, ever.
