Hi

A nicely defined piece in matte glaze. I saw it and thought of the Langley animals at first. There seems to be a makers mark on the base but I can't grasp it, could be two numbers?

Yeah probably not the right material of Langley. I had their Fox Cub about 6 years ago and it's shape is quite similiar if memory serves correctly. I'll go down the list of regular suspects and see what I can find. Cheers DD

Didn't Poole do some matte black animals...Google searching has become next to useless these days...

Ah ha what about Colin Melbourne for Midwinter - Material and base finish matches and there is a look to it....
