A coastal tourist pottery? They look like the sort of studio tourist pottery you used to see in West Country gift shops in the 60's and 70's. Quick and cheap to maker and a profitable earner.

They would have been had I not cut lumps out!

Though to be fair throwing them a bit thick at the bottom to have a go at carving was actually my intent, bit of a Guy Sydenham influance too!
That said, my throwing sucks so it's a good thing I went with carving...

They actually came out far better than I was expecting.
