Maker of Pottery

Does anyone know who the maker is? I think it might have been made by Mollica. It's confusing because they have N and M signatures. I believe this was my great grandmothers. So it has to be way over 100 yrs †

Similar plates can be found on google images by searching Ďfaenza majolica plateí. I donít know enough about these Italian plates to date it for you; I believe they are still being made in Deruta. Maybe someone else in the group can help, otherwise best to get it appraised by one of the major auction houses.

Perhaps more Urbino or Gubbio than Faenza? Might be able to say a little more if you can show a picture of the whole back and give the diameter. A lovely plate with an appealing subject but the very great majority of these are 19th or 20th century tourist copies rather than 16th century originals.

I've received information that it is made by Achilles Mollica.
