I've had this etching for quite a while now and have not been able to identify the artist.

It 'could be' of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza but that is just a guess!

Any ideas as to the artists signature?

Any help appreciated...!

ps...please ignore reflections in glass!

A low edition of prints would normally mean a student. An established print maker would issue in the hundreds. Can't make out numbers. Is it also ot an aquatint with areas of grey not scratched. Etching would be pure lines only.

Yes you are right...it is an aquatint and you are more than likely right that it might be the work of a student but i think a very talented one in my eyes...! [the print is 9/10]

Many thanks for your comments...all welcome!
