Michael and Sylvia Thorpe established Sark Pottery, and Silversmiths, in 1979, signing the pots 'Sark'. They potted there until their retirement in 1992.
From 1993 the pottery was run by Lorraine Nicolle, who added LN to the Sark mark.

Sark island lies off the Normandy coast and is part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey.
Sark Pottery is made at Lorraine's Pottery and Silverware, where Lorraine Nicolle is both potter and silversmith.
