Assuming it is by him, I personally would doubt he's that collectable to be honest.
I do like you little vase and expect he is another under-rated studio potter.

I can't recall seeing any of his work before but Potty seems to have got this spot on.
As far as being collectable is concerned, very few studio potters are when you consider how many there have been over the years.
If you keep it then his work becomes a little more collectable and if you try and sell it you ought to only expect a few pounds.

Tall stoneware vase, PM mark - Paul Metcalfe
Stoneware vase, 22cm tall, 11cm across the base. I've searched the stamp and book says this is Paul Metcalfe's mark, but can't find much similar work of his.
