I thought it might be useful to have a thread on this. First, Soviet era Lomonosov (the former Imperial Porcelain Factory in St Petersburg).

I don't know about that: most users of the forum won't be able to read more of these marks than "Made in USSR" or "Made in Russia"; so it'd be good to have a thread where, given that basic knowledge, they can find the various potteries. If they already know its Lomonosov, they can go straight to the dedicated thread under "European Pottery".

Russian and Soviet Marks - Lomonosov Empty Konakovo Faience Factory

At Konakovo in Tver province. Dating back to the early 19th century, and renamed "Farforovyi Zavod Imeni Kalinina" after Mikhail Kalinin in 1919.

This stamped mark: an abstracted leafy branch over two wavy lines and the letters "ЗиК", in green; with "MADE IN USSR" in red.

Impressive, especially with the idea that I was in Moscow and St.Petersburg a year ago...Really beautiful cities!
