short grey/ blue vase with lines and other indentations - EA mark
Hello, I am trying to identify the origins of the following vase. It has been initialed and does not have a mark so, as ive recently learned, it could be a student piece but I would love any suggestions about it.
It stands 17cm high and is 12cm at its widest.
It is a light blue/grey colour on top with a creamy white underneath.
It has the initials EA and R underneath on the base.
Many thanks for your help!

Looks like EA to me, with maybe a B underneath

It's not an unattractive piece but it has all the hallmarks of being by a hobby potter.

Thanks all for your help! To summarise general thoughts I don't think I'd be able to retire on it if I were to put it into auction (haha!!) but it only cost me a few pounds and I love it, which I suppose is all that matters. Really grateful for your advice! :-)

............. but if you keep buying one day you might strike lucky!
However, my advice is that you should always buy things you like and not just for any profit they might bring.

It could still be Continental or Australian. Depends on whether it's heavy compared to other handbuilt pots. Sometimes it takes a while for similar pieces to appear for comparison
