AB Read's Versalite lamp Empty AB Read's Versalite lamp

I really love AB Read's Versalite lamps and just wondered if they were still in production somewhere. I believe they were made by Troughton and Young but I don't believe they exist anymore. Any ideas what happened to them or whether anyone else owns the designs?
