Bohemian Overlay Cut to Pink-Please tell me - Lamp Shade or Compote!?

I first thought this is lamp shade as it has the spots for hanging crystals......  I'm just not sure!  Any other vaguely similar pieces shows as a compote Measures 8" wide at large end and 3-1/4" at narrow end.  Stands about 5-3/4" tall.  Any thoughts?

I first thought that as well. But I have seen a photo of a similar item shown as a compote - with the crystals hanging down the sides. But just that one photo. It has been difficult to find any reference to this shape. Thank you very much for your response!

Thanks. They are in great condition and I do plan to put them up for sale - but I like to be as accurate and informative as possible. I do have some pendants I am going to try on these. And you are right - the shape says lampshade!!

Finally got it figured out!  These are both top pieces to chandeliers.  I found a couple chandeliers listed on ebay and the top portion looks just like these.  Now what to do with them......
